My kids (4 yo and 2 yo) loves this book. The illustrations are so cute with a very simple sentences. My 4 yo son can read aloud this book by himself, while his younger brother listened to him and enjoyed the illustration.

I used this book to simply show my older son that Sleepy Dog’s morning routines are almost the same as he is: morning wake-up difficulty, having a messy breakfast, getting stuck while playing. But these were resolved simply because the helps of others (Mama Dog, the Cat).

I got this book from my eldest son’s school library. And since he is now able to read aloud by himself, I was just sitting next to him holding the book and let him read the book.
